CVA has provided inspection services on Biennial Bridge Inspection Contracts for NYSDOT since 1999. The firm has focused extensively on maintenance inspection projects for the region’s infrastructure. CVA has inspected over 9867 bridge inspections in all counties of New York State. Our teams have used work-zone protection and traffic control equipment; personal safety equipment; basic access equipment; inspection tools such as electronic ‘D’ meter, dye penetrant kit, telescopic mirrors; measuring tools; documentation tools. Our inspectors are certified to use man lifts to Under Bridge Inspection Unit in order to assess the bridges where needed.
